We collect information you provide directly: your name and email address when you create an account, and any brand details, brief content, copy text, images, or logos you submit when creating a design. We also automatically collect basic usage data such as login activity and generation history to operate and improve the service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to generate your designs, process payments, respond to support requests, send you service-related notifications (design ready, payment confirmation, review updates), and improve Gensfield's quality and reliability. We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use your brief content or uploaded assets to train any third-party AI models beyond what is necessary to generate your specific design.
3. How We Process Your Data
Your brief content and uploaded images are sent to third-party AI providers (including Anthropic and OpenAI, accessed via OpenRouter) solely to generate your requested design. These providers process this data under their own respective privacy and data-handling terms. Successful designs that are not flagged for correction may, at our discretion, be anonymized and added to our internal design reference library to improve future generations for all users — brand names and identifying details are stripped before any such use.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your account data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL database and authentication). Your design files and uploaded assets are stored on Cloudinary's secure content delivery network. We apply reasonable technical safeguards to protect your data, though no system can guarantee absolute security.
5. Payments
Payments are processed securely by Bachs. We do not store your card or payment details directly — these are handled entirely by our payment processor under their own security and privacy standards.
6. Cookies & Tracking
We use only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account and design data for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed from our active systems, though some records may be retained where required for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.
8. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at hello@gensfield.com, or by using the account deletion option available in your Profile settings. If you are located in Nigeria, you have rights under the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023, including the right to be informed, the right to access your data, and the right to request correction or erasure.
9. Children's Privacy
Gensfield is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
